Our biggest convoys for transport reform yet

6 cities. Hundreds of trucks. Over a thousand transport workers from right across the industry calling for reform.

A huge congrats to everyone who participated in our biggest convoys yet. You’ve shown Federal Parliament that we are strong, and we are united. We must now keep up the pressure to show cross-benchers—whose votes will be crucial—why they must back reform.

You can see the huge media coverage of the convoys here.

Politicians back transport workers

We are gaining momentum with key cross-benchers who have seen our entire industry turn out for change, with Senator Pauline Hanson posting on Facebook in support of transport workers, and staff from Senator David Pocock’s office attending the convoy in Canberra.

We also saw state and Federal politicians joining convoys right across the country and showing their support for workers. This is a huge result from years of tireless efforts from members.

David Smith MP, Tracey Roberts MP, Marielle Smith MP, Joanne Ryan MP, Matt Burnell MP, Senator Glenn Sterle and Senator Tony Sheldon all joined convoys in support of transport reform.

We must now keep up the pressure to show the cross-benchers—whose votes will be crucial when legislation is introduced—why they must back reform.
