Tony Sheldon, National Secretary of the Transport Workers Union, says it is about time the company was caught. NSW Police caught a truck going 140kmph over the border. The retail industry is to be blamed for putting pressure on truck drivers in order to make an extra dollar.

    Trucking associations are warning drivers follow SA road laws after a police crackdown on B double drivers last year resulted in 95 positive drug tests. Ray Wyatt, SA Transport Workers Union says that the time pressures places on drivers are unrealistic. Steve Shearer, SA Road Transport Association says that there are only a small number of offenders.
