PFD Drivers Stood United for Better Wages and Conditions

TWU SA/NT Branch News, 6 July 2018
PFD drivers have spoken out with a successful one-hour stoppage today where members stood united and pushed their claims for better wages and conditions.

The stoppage today was just the beginning and we will keep up the fight until the company come to the table with an offer that is acceptable to our members.

Congratulations to PFD members who took part in today's action as you stood strong despite the aggressive response from management.

On the ABC radio, Ian Smith, TWU SA/NT Branch Secretary, states the TWU has been negotiating with the company [PFD Food Services] for five months and drivers have been working two hours overtime. He also said the company should go back to the negotiating table and put a decent offer on the table, so they can go through this process.
