    Families Of Victims & Truck Drivers Vow To Continue The Fight For Road Safety

    Families of people killed in truck crashes, truck drivers and the Transport Workers’ Union have vowed to continue to fight to make roads safer and to ensure an independent body is put in place to examine pressures in transport which lead to deaths. The group comprising 50 drivers and families visiting Canberra today said it was looking forward to sitting down with the transport industry to discuss how an independent body can be brought back, following the Government’s abolition of the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal.
