As you know, the management who were responsible for some of the problems at Bunker have been stood down. The TWU welcomes this move as we try to move towards a better working environment for everyone at Bunker.

BUT, this doesn’t mean the new managers are going to be on the side of the drivers, so as a good will gesture we would like to see the following problems addressed now:

1.     Fix the sleeping arrangements for drivers. NO MORE BUNK BEDS AT BUNKER
2.     Make the pay slips so they are understandable.
3.     More consultation on rosters.

We will be working hard to keep the new managers honest but look forward to working with them to make Bunker the best transport company in Australia.
As always, TWU representatives are in your state, to represent and fight for a better working environment.
