Menzies EBA: RANK & FILE EBA DEAL TIME TO HAVE A SAY

The agreement, endorsed by your rank and file delegates negotiating committee has been out for consultation last week. Now it is time for members in Sydney and Melbourne to have a say. Please complete the Ballot paper below and return it to your delegate.

Key provisions of the agreement include:
 

• 3.5% wage increase from 1st July 09
• 3.5% wage increase from 1st July 2010
• New provision to allow for 10 hours shifts by agreement only
• Clarification of current RDO entitlements for all existing employees
• New SL and RDO provisions for new employees

Significant commitments from the company in relation to:

• No contracting out of work without first consulting with TWU members and representatives
• Entitlements protection
• Job Security of existing staff members
• Improved rights to training, access and representation for all TWU members

The Menzies EBA has been officially endorsed by national TWU delegates and rank and file delegates.
